A story about the cost of obtaining power…

For generations, the kingdom of Eashiotora has been bathed in righteous glory and prosperity. The citizens all enjoy lavish lifestyles and enhanced physical, mental, and magical prowess; leaving people wondering about the secret to their success.

The truth is, at the age of 18 one must complete a pilgrimage that spans though all the important landmarks of Eashiotora. In each town, the quest is to complete a trial and earn a Proof of Merit. Only then will they be allowed to engage in the final trial, culminating in the final task of sacrificing something important to them.
